While the rain’s been working overtime in Boston making the outdoor world green, I’ve been surrounding myself with indoor greenery…
Each time I’ve visited the courtyard at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, I’ve been surprised by how beautiful it is. It’s always like I’m seeing it for the first time. That was especially true yesterday when it serenaded me with subtle sounds of crickets, cicadas, and frogs.
Last year at this time was my first time with a plot in the garden. I can’t even describe how I grew to love going down to the garden and picking fresh arugula for my lunch.
Like most Bostonians, I delight in any sign that Winter 2015 might actually be over. We did, after all, have a half-day of snow this past weekend, and many of us have not forgotten the massive blizzard we had in 1997 on April 1.
Not only did the SoWa Artists Guild give daffodils today to its members for Salon Sunday (an open studio event at 450 Harrison Avenue), but the sun showed its face all day.
