“In situ” photographs, which I posted about a few days ago, help to show how my art prints might look in an interior setting. The artworks you see here are all shown in virtual settings — the result of my having purchased photos through Shutterstock and using Photoshop to layer them into the scenes.
I’ve started pouring through interior stock photos at Shutterstock again, and purchasing some as virtual settings to show my art in. “In Situ” images, which these are known as, are a marketing tool that helps art buyers in visualizing how artworks might look in an interior setting.
In April, many of downtown Boston’s sidewalks become lush with pink and white magnolia trees. A particularly striking display of blossoms can be found on Commonwealth Avenue in the Back Bay.
