After a long and playful birthday weekend (my sister came to Boston for the first time in ages), I’m back to work. It’s always refreshing to have a fun break, and equally so to get back in my studio.
Preparations are on for this week’s “CAT IS WHERE IT’S AT” First Friday event in my studio. This particular First Friday is a bit unusual and special in that attendees will include some Gifford Cat Shelter board members and supporters. All my prints will be for sale, but there are six specific images that if purchased, a particular dollar amount will go to the shelter for each one bought.
The Gifford Cat Shelter is the oldest no-kill, cageless cat shelter in the United States. They do so much to care for cats who need homes, and once they take in a cat they will care for it as long as necessary until a loving forever home is found.
Here are more details and art images regarding this Friday’s CAT IS WHERE IT’S AT event.
WHERE: 450 Harrison Avenue, Studio 203, Boston, MA
WHEN: 5-9 pm, Friday, November 6, 2015
If you’re in the Boston area, come to the South End and explore our studio building this coming Friday evening. There are over 70 artists here who will open their doors to the public!
Have a great week.
