Wall Power: A Street Art Photo Exhibit

Wall Power street artLast month I blogged about Wall Power, the exhibit of street art photos that’s happening in my studio building at 450 Harrison Avenue. The exhibitors are two Roxbury high school teachers, Alan Chazaro and Briana Jauregui, who have traveled to North American and European urban centers in search of street art to photograph.

Senor Seasons by Franklin MarvalThere are also some paintings by Franklin Marval. I was digging on “Senor Seasons” on the right. Franklin has done a lot of public art mural work, including “The Cumaña Road, Figment 203” on the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

You can still see the show in studio 229 at 450 Harrison Avenue on the following dates:
SALON SUNDAY: Sunday, March 29th, noon to 5pm
FIRST FRIDAY: Friday, April 3rd, 5 to 9pm

Here’s a link to more of Alan and Briana’s photographs: http://graffletic.tumblr.com/

Here are further links to Franklin Marval:

Happy Sunday to you,

Hi there. I’m Boston-based digital artist Paula Ogier. In this blog I write about about my art business, new works, projects in process, life in Boston, inspirations, ideas, and creative challenges. I live and work in Boston's South End neighborhood, in the enclave known as the SoWa Art + Design district. I'm fond of big cities, architecture, great imaginative spaces, food & drink, gardening, wandering around the city on foot, binge-watching well written shows, talking to cats, and of course, making and experiencing art.
